Age of wonders 3 mod racial governance .rpk12/16/2023 I got 2 units to veteran rank, built 1 core unit, bought 4 NPC tier 1 units, obtained some reward units from quests and my income is -15 with 2 colonies. I mean I can't have just a few colonies and rely on NPC units because they will not have any mods, I can't rely on faction units either because they have 1 mod and thus don't have a chance against double number of AI units (there is no much room for synergy). This one aims to make the AI build fewer tier 4 units without altering their stats.Ĭan't personally recommend either as I don't think they're needed.Click to expand.I am on turn 14 in my game and I think the idea to reduce number of colonies contradicts to increased energy upkeep for evolved units and increased mod cost for NPC. This one aims to make lower tier units stronger in comparison with tier 4s: That said, there are several mods that aim to change the balance to favour lower tier units. If you don't enjoy using the high-tier units, you could also focus on upgrading the lower-tier ones. In general, tier 4 units allow for great concentration of force, but spending the same money on tier 2-3 units, particularly with mystic city upgrades and racial governance upgrades, will be much more cost effective. Or at least by the time you do, the enemy will have 10 armies.) (Sure, an army of Horned Gods would be extremely strong, but you can't get such an army. Other tier 4s are balanced enough, either by themselves or by the effort it takes to get them. You need to find a dwelling to build them. Dragons are certainly powerful, but also very rare.
